Purvanchal Bank Officer /Office Asst. Recruitment 2014 Online Application: Purvanchal  Bank a sponsored Bank of State Bank of India and having its Head Office at Mohaddipur, Gorakhpur has issued recruitment notification for appointment of Officers and Office Assistants through online application w.e.f 10/04/2013. Candidates who have appeared in the Common written Examination for RRB’S conducted by IBPS in September 2012 and have valid score card are eligible for applying. More details regarding number of vacancies, age requirements, payment of application fees, last date of application etc are as under:

No. of Vacancies: Post wise number of vacancies are as under:
1. Officer Scale-I: 86
2. Office Assistant (Multipurpose): 112

Educational Qualifications: The applicant should have a degree from a recognized university. Proficiency in computers is a must for both the posts.

Age Limit: Age of the candidate should not be below 18 years and not above 28 years as on 01/06/2012. Age relaxation will be granted as per Government rules.

IBPS Score Card in CWE: The candidate should possess following score in Common Written Examination for RRB’s conducted by IBPS in September  2012
1. Officer Scale 1 : The candidate should possess valid score card  with 97  & above for SC/ST and 103 & above for general and others.
2. Office Assistant: The candidate should possess valid score card with 89 & above for SC/ST and 95 & above for others.

 Application Fee: Application fee is Rs.20/- for SC/ST/PWD/EXSM candidates & Rs.100/- for the remaining. Application fee is to be paid through challan in Purvanchal Bank or State Bank of India.

Selection Procedure: Selection shall be made on the basis of performance in Common Written Examination (CWE) conducted by IBPS in September 2012 and personal interview.
Application Procedure: Applications are to be made online through bank’s website www.pgbgorakhpur.com from 10/04/2013 to 25/04/2013. Following procedure is to be followed by applicants:
1. Log on to bank’s website www.pgbgorakhpur.com
2. Download the Challan form from the website and pay the requisite fee.
3. Branch Code Number and Transaction Number mentioned on the challan form should be correctly filled in the online application form.
4. Revisit bank’s website and Click on ‘Apply Online’ link.
5. Fill all requisite fields in the application form & click on the submit button.
6. Take the print out of the system generated application form and retains a copy thereof for future reference.
