Rajasthan AEN Exam 2014 : Apply Online : Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has issued advertisement for conducting of Rajasthan Assistant Engineer (Civil/Electrical/Mechanicak) Exam 2014. This Joint Entrance Exam is being conducted for recruitment of Assistant Engineers within the state of Rajasthan. Applications are being invited online. More details regarding number of vacancies, age requirements, educational qualifications, application procedure, admit card, important dates etc are as under :

Age : For making Online application, the candidate should be from 21 to 37 Years. Relaxation in age is available as per Government Rules.

Educational Qualifications : The candidate should have passed the B.E (Civil/Electrical/Mechanical) from a recognized University.

Salary : Pay Band 15600 – 39100 plus Grade Pay – 15 (Rs. 5400/-)

Scheme of Exam : The Exam will be taken in two stages 1. Preliminary 2. Main Exam. Preliminary Exam will have two papers. One is compulsory and One is optional.Details of papers are as under :

A.     COMPULSORY PAPER : General Knowledge & General Science including General Knowledge of Rajsthan, its Geography, Economy and Culture. – 200 Marks & 2 Hours Duration.
B.     OPTIONAL PAPERS – Any one paper from the following is to be selected :
1.      Civil Engineering – 200 Marks & 2 Hours Duration.
2.      Electrical Engineering – 200 Marks & 2 Hours Duration.
3.      Mechanical Engineering - 200 Marks & 2 Hours Duration.

Main examination: - The written examination will consist of the following papers which will be conventional type. A candidate must take all the compulsory subjects and any one of the optional subjects listed below. Each of the optional subject will have two papers. The time allowed for each paper shall be three hours.
