SSC CGL Tier I/II Exam 2013 Online Application/Notification : Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has issued
notification for conducting of Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Examination 2013 for recruitment to posts for which Graduate from a recognized University is the
minimum educational qualification. The Exam will comprise of two tiers i.e Tier
I & Tier II followed by Computer Proficiency Test/Interview and Skill Test wherever
applicable as per Scheme of Exam. More details are as under :

Age :
Age limit is 18 years to 27 years, depending upon the post. See the
advertisement as attached for complete information. Relaxation in age is
available as per Government Rules.
Mode
of Selection : The Selection shall be made on the basis
of Written Examination, Inyetview/Skill Test/Computer Proficiency Test,
wherever applicable. All India merit list will be prepared for all categories. The
Commission will recommend the candidates in the Merit List on the basis of the aggregate marks obtained by the
candidates in the written examination and interview and preference exercised by
the candidates in the Application
Form for different Posts/States at the
time of Tier II/ Interview/Skill Test/Computer Proficiency Test depending on the number of vacancies available. Once the candidate has been given his/her
first available preference, he/she will
not be considered for the other options.
Candidates are therefore advised to exercise preference in Application
Form carefully and detailed options after Tier I examination. The option /preference once exercised by the Candidates will be treated
as FINAL and IRREVERSIBLE. Subsequent request for change of
allocation/service by candidates will not be entertained under any circumstances/
reasons.
How
to Apply : The application can be made online or
offline. Candidates making online applications are required to visit the
website : www.ssconline.nic.in and www.sscregistration.sifyitest.com Candidates are advised to read the requisite guidelines
available on the website for filling online applications. Candidates can also
submit offline applications in Annexure I. For detailed instructions,
candidates can refer to Annexure II.
