ALLAHABAD BANK PO 1600 VACANCY : Apply Online : Allahabad Bank, A Government of India Undertaking  and  having its Head Office at 2, N. S Road Kolkata – 700001 vide its advertisement no. REC/01/2012 – 2013 invites online applications for recruitment of Probationary Officers under “PROBATIONARY OFFICERS RECRUITMENT PROJECT 2012 – 2013”. There are total 1600 vacancies. More details regarding IBPS Score required, salary payable, start and end dates for making online applications, age requirements, reservation, relaxation in age, how to apply online, fee payable and mode of fee payment etc are as under :

No. of Vacancies : 1600 Posts of Probationary Officers – PO (GENERAL 800, SCHEDULED CASTE 240, SCHEDULED TRIBE 128, OTHER BACKWARD CLASSES 432)

Age : Not less than 20 years and not more than 30 years as on 01/07/2011. Age relaxation will be available as per rules prescribed by the Government.

Educational Qualifications : Graduate (any discipline) from recognized university and working knowledge/diploma in computer education or studied computer / IT as one of the subject at High School/College.

IBPS Score : Minimum Total Weighted Standard Score (as mentioned in the IBPS Score Card)  obtained in the Common Written Examination (CWE) for PO / MT SEPT2011  - FOR GENERAL : 125, For OBC (Non Creamy Layer) /SC / ST/ PWD – 112. Moreover,  Candidates should also secure minimum marks i.e. 24 for General category and 21 for Reserved categories in each subject including descriptive test in CWE.

Selection Process :  There is two tier selection procedure i.e CWE Score and Group Discussion or Interview conducted by the bank. IBPS Score requirements are mentioned above. It may kindly be noted that the GD will be used only for qualifying purposes and its marks will not be considered in final merit. Interview shall be of 35 marks, testing the candidates on their intelligence, motivation, communication skills etc. Candidates who have a valid score in IBPS CWE, score qualifying marks in interview will be considered for final selection.

Change / Modification in Online Application : )   There is a provision to modify the submitted On Line Application. Candidates are requested to make use of this facility to correct their details in the On Line Application, if any. This modification facility will be available upto 14.03.2012. After this date, no modification will be permitted. Candidate should take utmost care while filling in the On-Line Application.

: Candidates are advised to note that their personal email id as specified in the online application form while applying for the Common Written Examination conducted by IBPS During September 2011 is kept alive during the currency of this recruitment project. The bank will be sending information regarding call letter / admit card / permission letter  for group discussion and / or interview  to candidates through this email id only. No other mode of communication will be adopted by the bank. Interview result / group discussion result or final selection list / result will be made available by the bank at its official website. Candidates have to affix a coloured photograph on the call letter / Interview admit card, permission letter. Candidate has to bring the call letter / admit card along with the fee payment challan and requisite enclosures while attending the GD / Interview. Without call letter / admit card, candidates will not be allowed to take part in the Group Discussion (GD)/Interview.
